Two months probation for Russell Pearce's son?

Recently 26 employees of the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles were arrested for issuing fraudulant driver's licenses. They were caught by an FBI sting operation. What do you suppose will happen to them? What do you think should happen to them?

They'll probably get more than two months probation which is what Justin Pearce, son of former DMV head Russell Pearce, got when he committed the same offense back in 2000. Justin was a DMV employee at the time. Russell Pearce resigned his position as head of the DMV in embarrassment shortly thereafter. Russell is now a State Representative and Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee.

Evidently the folks in his Mesa district didn't mind that Pearce's son was making fake ID's for his buddies so they could buy booze, or maybe they just didn't know. At any rate they elected him to the State House not long after this incident. Isn't consuming liquor some kind of violation of Mormon rules? Russell, do you have a jack Mormon for a son? Or perhaps he wasn't consuming liquor himself. Maybe he was just picking up some extra spending cash by helping his underage friends buy alcohol. That might not be a violation of the WoW.

I read your entire blog and I am saddened that such bigotry and religious hatred still exists in the world. Hitler was only a little worse than this blog makes you out to be.

By Hitler, do you mean Russell Pearce? Other than Hitler acutually accomplishing much of the evil he set out to do, what's the difference?

Russell Pearce: Nazi?... neo-Nazi? White Supremacist? Who knows?
We do know he's a serial wife beater. We also know that he promotes legislation that is unconstitutional. He claims to support education and parents' rights but his record demonstrates otherwise. Many families, including disabled children, are being negatively impacted by his actions. His own family history is not exactly a shining example to others...

That's the reason why I leave the mormon church, because they say they bring love to the people but when you find out that there are to many people with the same behavior than the senator, and specially because these people are authorities in the church, that's when you realize that something is wrong, how can you agree with people that don't thing with common sense? Something is wrong with these people, not all of them but to many of them, like, how can they say that black people are god's judgment? I can't believe people thinking in that way, No mormon church anymore in my family even from other states
